It depends on how much practice you get at home. Many learners take between 5 and 10 lessons before their drive test. Book an assessment lesson and your instructor will give you an honest plan.

An automatic is quicker to learn. If you pass your drive test in an automatic, your probationary licence only covers automatic cars; pass in a manual and you can drive either.

Very. Tell us when you book and we will match you with an instructor who is good with nervous learners. Your first lesson can be in a quiet street or a car park.

Yes. A refresher lesson or a mock test is a good way to learn Victorian road rules and test routes before your drive test.

Order a pack online and we confirm it. The lessons then sit in your account, and you book each one when it suits you, with nothing more to pay on the day. Starter packs last 6 months and 10-lesson packs 12 months.

Yes. Give us at least 24 hours' notice and we will move it at no charge. Use the link in your booking confirmation, or call us.

Yes. Lessons make a great gift. Call or email us and we will set one up for any amount or pack.

If you are under 21, you need 120 hours of supervised driving, including 20 at night, and you must hold your learner permit for at least 12 months. From 21 to 24 there is no hours requirement and a 6 month minimum; from 25 it is 3 months. Every lesson with us goes in your logbook.

Yes. The test day package includes a warm-up lesson, pick-up from home and the use of our dual-control car for your VicRoads drive test. Book your test with VicRoads first, then book us for the same day.

Your instructor gives directions the way a testing officer does and marks your drive on a test-style sheet. Afterwards you go through it together, so you know exactly what to work on.
