How does a lesson deduct a credit?
When you book a lesson for a student who holds a term pack, one credit is deducted from their balance automatically. The deduction is atomic and double-spend-safe, so the same lesson can never consume two credits, and if the lesson is cancelled or rescheduled the credit is returned.
Does a recurring weekly series draw down the pack?
Yes. Book a weekly recurring series and each occurrence draws one credit against the student's pack, so a full term of lessons is deducted in one action, no re-charging parents week by week. Once the pack is used up, any extra weeks simply stay at your normal per-lesson price.
What happens on a no-show?
That's your call. Each pack template has a no-show forfeit setting, turn it on and a no-show consumes the lesson per your cancellation policy; leave it off and the credit stays on the student's balance.
Does it raise an invoice when I sell a term pack?
Yes, optionally. When you sell a pack you can have a GST-inclusive invoice raised automatically with the pack as a line item, BAS-ready, with your ABN printed. The sale is recorded either way, so you can also just take the payment and skip the invoice.
Can parents see how many lessons are left?
Yes, each student has a live balance of lessons remaining, so parents don't have to text you to check. When the pack runs low, the next term's invoice is one tap to send.
Do credits expire?
You can set a validity period per pack (e.g. a term pack expires at the end of the following term). Once past expiry the remaining credits are no longer available to book against, which stops dormant credits piling up.
