Frequently asked questions
Yes. OneBookPlus offers a free plan that includes basic invoicing, contacts, and bookings. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime for more features and higher limits. No credit card is required to sign up.
Yes. When creating an invoice, choose whether prices are GST-inclusive or GST-exclusive. OneBookPlus calculates the 10% GST automatically on each line item and displays the subtotal, GST amount, and total. This information also flows into your accounting reports and BAS preparation.
Yes. Go to Settings, then Import Data, select "Contacts", upload a CSV file, map the columns, and import. This is perfect for migrating from another tool like Xero, MYOB, or a spreadsheet.
Yes. Your public booking page (onebookplus.com.au/book/your-slug) allows anyone to book without creating an account. They simply choose a service, pick a date and time, enter their name and contact details, and confirm.
A quote is a proposal, it tells your client what the work will cost before they commit. An invoice is a bill for completed (or agreed) work. Once a client accepts a quote, you can convert it directly into an invoice with one click, carrying over all the line items and amounts.
OneBookPlus uses the Australian financial year (1 July to 30 June). All quarterly reports align to this: Q1 is July to September, Q2 is October to December, Q3 is January to March, and Q4 is April to June.
Yes. When creating an expense, select the currency from the dropdown. Enter the exchange rate and OneBookPlus calculates the AUD equivalent. This is useful for overseas purchases, software subscriptions billed in USD, or international travel.
No. The OneBookPlus POS runs in your web browser, so it works on any tablet, laptop or desktop. For the best experience we recommend an iPad or Android tablet. One thing to plan for: OneBookPlus does not take the card payment itself yet, so you still need your existing EFTPOS terminal at the counter. The tap happens on that machine and you record the card sale in the POS so the sale and the GST are right.
