Software that scales with you

OneBookPlus is one product across every business size, so growing does not mean migrating. Compare the four sizes below, then read the page for yours: each one sets out what is included, what starts on a paid plan, and what is not built yet.

Sole trader

Just you, one phone, no bookkeeper

You are the business. You quote, do the work, invoice, and chase the money. What you need is the whole run, quote to job to invoice to GST, sitting behind one login.

  • 10 invoices and 5 quotes a month on the Free plan, with 250 contacts
  • GST calculation and ABN validation on every plan, Free included
  • 1 booking page on Free, so customers can book you without a phone call

Free is a permanent plan, not a trial. Card payments, payment reminders and BAS reporting start at Starter, $29/mo.

Small team

2 to 10 people, one office

You have hired. The questions change to who can see what, who is on which job, and whether the bill goes up every time somebody joins.

  • Seats are included flat rather than billed per user: 3 on Starter, 5 on Plus, 10 on Growth
  • Six roles ship, including a read-write accountant and a read-only advisor for an external bookkeeper
  • Client portal from Starter. The white-label version is Growth only

Two to ten people spans three tiers, so the seat count picks the plan: $29/mo for 3 seats, $49/mo for 5, $69/mo for 10.

Multi-location

Branches with their own numbers

Several sites, or several businesses under one group. Each branch keeps its own data and its own reporting, and head office gets one view across them.

  • Locations are a first-class record, and invoices and contacts carry the location they belong to
  • Sales by location and P&L by tracking category are standing reports, not exports
  • Franchise consolidation rolls a parent and its child businesses into one cash-basis group profit view

Nothing about locations is plan gated. Each business runs on its own plan and the consolidated view sits across them, so a group of five businesses is five subscriptions.

Larger or franchise

Past our biggest published plan

Bigger than the largest published plan, or running a group of businesses. There is no separate enterprise product, so the conversation is about configuration on the same platform.

  • Several businesses under one login, with a switcher in the header
  • Consolidated cash-basis group profit across a parent and its child businesses
  • Data isolation enforced at the database level rather than by a UI filter

The largest published plan includes 10 team members and there is no per-seat top-up to buy on top of it. Above that we work it out case by case.

The four sizes side by side

What a business of each shape actually runs on. The quotas are the published plan limits, so this is the fastest way to work out which page to read next.

Locations, tracking categories and consolidated reporting are not plan gated. They are simply what larger operators reach for, and each business in a group carries its own subscription. For the full feature-by-feature breakdown of the four plans, see OneBookPlus pricing. The reports that do the rolling up are described on the accounting and reporting module page, and the isolation between one business and the next is set out on the OneBookPlus security page.

You do not have to pick a size today

Start on the Free plan and move up when the limits start to pinch. Nothing is rebuilt when you do, and there is no lock-in contract.

Choosing a size, and moving between them

Which size band should I pick if I am about to hire my first employee?

Small team, from the day the second person needs their own login. The Free plan includes 1 team member, so the second seat is what moves you to Starter, which includes 3. Roles are set per person, so a new staff member can work the jobs and contacts they need without reaching the books or the billing settings.

Does moving up a plan mean rebuilding anything?

No. It is one product and one data model across every size. A plan changes the limits and which features are switched on, not the shape of your data, so upgrading or downgrading in your dashboard leaves every invoice, quote, contact and booking exactly where it was. There is no export, no import and no second tool to learn.

Are franchise groups billed as one account or as separate businesses?

Separately. Each business is its own account with its own subscription and its own database-level data isolation, so a group of five businesses is five subscriptions. What sits across them is the reporting: a business flagged as head office can consolidate its child businesses into one cash-basis profit view covering revenue, GST collected, expenses and net profit, and one login switches between them. It is not a consolidated balance sheet and it does not eliminate intercompany transactions. There is no single group invoice.

What happens when a business outgrows the largest published plan?

The largest published plan includes 10 team members, and there is no per-seat top-up to buy on top of it. Past that, tell us the shape of what you are running and we work out a configuration on the same platform. The larger and franchise page sets out plainly what we can do at that size and what we do not have yet.
