Protect your OneBookPlus account with multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Why Use MFA?
MFA adds an extra layer of security beyond your password. Even if someone gets your login credentials, they can't access your account without the second factor.
Setting Up MFA
- Go to Settings, then Sign-in & Security
- Click Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe
When Is MFA Required?
- MFA is required for sensitive actions such as managing billing, team access, and tax or compliance settings
- For other features, it's optional but recommended
Managing MFA
From the Security page:
- View your enrolled factors
- Remove an authenticator
- Reset your setup if you lose your device
Tip: Keep your backup codes in a secure location. If you lose your authenticator device, you'll need them to regain access.
