Bank feeds via Basiq are withdrawn
The Basiq bank feed has been withdrawn while we replace the provider. Bank accounts cannot be connected, and connections made earlier are not importing transactions. We are not putting a date on the rebuild. Everything else in accounting works as before, and the rest of this page sets out what to use instead.
What still works
Expenses and bills, entered directly
Record an expense or a supplier bill against a job, a category and a GST treatment. Nothing about this depends on a bank connection.
Receipt and invoice scanning
Drag in a PDF or photograph a receipt and the AI reads the supplier, date, GST and total, then puts the figures in front of you to confirm. This is separate from bank feeds and is unaffected.
Invoices reconciled against payments
Payments recorded against an invoice, including Stripe card and BECS payments, still clear the invoice and relieve the receivable in the ledger.
GST and BAS figures
GST collected and GST credits accumulate from the invoices, expenses and bills you record, and the BAS-ready figures are drawn from those.
Profit and loss, balance sheet
The accounting reports run off the ledger, so they stay accurate as long as the underlying invoices, expenses and payments are recorded.
Your existing data is untouched
Transactions imported before the integration was withdrawn remain in your account. Nothing has been deleted.
How to record spending instead
- 1Photograph the receipt on your phone, or drag the supplier's PDF invoice into the expenses page.
- 2The AI reads the supplier, date, GST and total, and shows you the figures to confirm or correct.
- 3Code it to a category and a job if it belongs to one, then save. Anything without a document can be typed in by hand.
- 4The expense posts to the ledger, the GST credit lands in your BAS figures, and profit and loss updates.
Bank feeds FAQ
Can I connect a bank account today?
No. The Basiq integration has been withdrawn and no new connections are being taken.
Why was it withdrawn?
The feed stopped delivering transactions reliably. Connections could report as healthy while importing nothing, which is worse than no feed at all, because the books look complete when they are not. We would rather withdraw it than leave that in place.
How do I get expenses into OneBookPlus in the meantime?
Enter them directly, or scan them. Drag a PDF bill or photograph a receipt and the AI reads the supplier, date, GST and total for you to confirm. Both paths post to the ledger and feed your BAS figures.
Is the rest of accounting affected?
No. Invoicing, payments, expenses, bills, GST, BAS-ready figures, profit and loss, and the balance sheet all work as before. Only the bank feed is gone.
When will bank feeds come back?
We are not putting a date on it. We are looking for a replacement provider and will rebuild the feed on top of it. Until then this page will say withdrawn.

Invoicing, expenses, receipt scanning, GST and the BAS-ready figures are all part of the accounting side of OneBookPlus and do not depend on a bank connection.
