About this app

In development. Today, every OneBookPlus accommodation tenant already gets free two-way iCal calendar sync with the major OTAs on a roughly 30 minute cycle, so availability stays aligned without paying anyone extra. Channel Manager is the direct-API upgrade being built on top: push rates and availability in seconds rather than on a polling cycle, pull reservations the moment a guest books, a commission reconciliation report for Booking.com / Expedia, a migration bridge for tenants switching from Eviivo or Little Hotelier, and HotelTonight distribution for last-minute inventory.

How it works

  1. 1

There is nothing to connect yet, the direct-API channel manager has not been built

  2. 2

Install the free iCal Sync app today, it keeps availability aligned on a roughly 30 minute cycle

  3. 3

Register your interest here and we will tell you when the direct connections land

  4. 4

When they do, you will map room types and rate plans once and rates will push in seconds

  5. 5

Reservations will flow back the moment a guest books, with a commission report and a migration path off Eviivo or Little Hotelier

Who it's for

  • Motels and small hotels tired of paying a separate channel-manager subscription on top of OTA commission
  • Operators losing nights to double-bookings when availability lags between Booking.com and Airbnb
  • Properties migrating off Eviivo or Little Hotelier who can't afford a sync blackout
  • Hosts who suspect they're being overcharged commission but have no way to audit it
  • Last-minute-heavy properties wanting HotelTonight distribution for unsold inventory

Features included

  • Not built yet, free two-way iCal sync is what ships today
  • Planned: direct APIs to Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, Agoda and Trip.com
  • Planned: rate and availability push in seconds, not on a polling cycle
  • Planned: a commission reconciliation report for Booking.com and Expedia
  • Planned: a migration bridge from Eviivo or Little Hotelier
  • Planned: per-channel rate plan and cancellation policy mapping
  • Planned: sync error alerts

About OneBookPlus apps

How Channel Manager fits into the rest of OneBookPlus

Channel Manager is a connector, and it has not shipped yet. When it does, it will link OneBookPlus to Booking.com, Expedia / Wotif / Hotels.com, Airbnb and the rest of the list above. Your records stay in OneBookPlus, and the connector pushes events out to those tools and pulls their results back, so there is one place the customer, invoice and booking data actually lives.

Because the marketplace runs inside OneBookPlus, billing is consolidated. Channel Manager appears as a single line on the same OneBookPlus invoice as your plan, so you don't end up reconciling separate vendor charges across three or four different SaaS subscriptions. Cancellation is one click and never reaches into your data. Uninstalling an app removes the feature from the UI but preserves the underlying customer, invoice, and booking records, so reinstalling later picks up exactly where you left off.

Every app in the marketplace is built specifically for the Australian small and medium business context: GST and ABN handling are first-class concerns, dates render as DD/MM/YYYY, currency defaults to AUD, and the underlying compliance plumbing (BAS summaries, ATO-friendly records, AHPRA / NDIS / Fair Work checkpoints where relevant) is shared across modules.

For a side-by-side of which features ship as core modules versus which require an installed app, see the features page. For pricing across plans and which apps are bundled at each tier, see the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Channel Manager and the OneBookPlus app marketplace.

Is this a separate channel manager I pay for on top of the OTAs?

No, it will be built into OneBookPlus. One subscription, not a channel-manager fee plus a PMS fee plus per-booking charges. The OTAs still take their own commission, but there's no middleman between you and them.

What do I get today, before Channel Manager ships?

Free two-way iCal calendar sync with Airbnb, Stayz, Booking.com, Vrbo and any other platform that publishes an iCal feed, refreshing on a roughly 30 minute cycle. Channel Manager replaces that polling cycle with direct API connections that push in seconds, which is what closes the double-booking window fully.

Will it help with OTA commission overcharges?

The plan includes a commission reconciliation report that compares what each OTA charged against your contracted rate and flags discrepancies for you to take up with the channel. You lodge the claim; the report surfaces what to claim.

I'm on Eviivo / Little Hotelier, can I switch without downtime?

That is the goal of the planned migration bridge: import your existing rate plans and forward bookings so the new sync goes live without a gap where rooms aren't sold. Until it ships, the free iCal sync covers the changeover.

Every app in the marketplace

These answers are the same whichever app you install.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts on any OneBookPlus app. Uninstall from your dashboard at any time and billing stops at the end of the current period.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), with each business's data isolated at the database layer, hosted in Australia in line with the Privacy Act 1988. We never sell or share your business data with third parties, and the full practices are documented on the OneBookPlus security page at onebookplus.com.au/security.
Is OneBookPlus built for Australian businesses?
Yes. OneBookPlus is Australian-owned, built in Melbourne, with GST, ABN validation and ATO-ready BAS reporting as the foundation, not an afterthought.
