About this app
For any visit that needs a carer, this ranks the ones you could send. Two things are hard requirements: the carer holds every licence the visit calls for, and they are not already booked at that time. Anyone who fails either is out. The rest are ranked on two signals, continuity of care, meaning carers who have been to this client before rank higher, and proximity, worked out from the numeric distance between the carer's postcode and the client's. You get a score per carer with the reasoning shown, and you can assign in bulk across the upcoming roster. Be aware of the limits before you rely on it. Proximity is postcode arithmetic, not drive time, so check the run for rural clients where two postcodes can be an hour apart. There is no language field and no cultural-background field on a carer record, so neither is matched. Nothing learns from client or family feedback. Licence checks look at whether a licence is recorded and active, not at its expiry date.
How it works
- 1
Record each carer's licences, postcode and working availability
- 2
Set the licences a visit requires on the client or the visit itself
- 3
Open an unfilled visit and the suggestions rank the carers you could send
- 4
Carers without the licences, or already booked, are excluded outright
- 5
Accept a suggestion, adjust it, or bulk-assign across the upcoming roster
Who it's for
- Home care providers filling visits across a wide geographic area
- Coordinators who want the same carer going back to the same client
- Providers cutting the time spent hand-matching an unfilled roster
- Anyone who has sent a carer without the licence the visit needed
Features included
- Required licences enforced as a hard requirement
- Availability clash detection against the existing roster
- Continuity of care, carers who have visited this client before rank higher
- Proximity by postcode
- Match score per carer with the reasoning shown
- Bulk assign across the upcoming roster
- Every suggestion can be overridden by the coordinator

About OneBookPlus apps
How Client Matching fits into the rest of OneBookPlus
Most OneBookPlus apps are not external integrations wired up between separate products. They are native modules installed inside the same platform you already use for invoicing, bookings, CRM, and accounting. That means Client Matching reads from and writes to the same customer records, financial entries, and calendar events as every other module, with no scheduled sync delays and no risk of data drift between systems.
Because the marketplace runs inside OneBookPlus, billing is consolidated. Client Matching appears as a single line on the same OneBookPlus invoice as your plan, so you don't end up reconciling separate vendor charges across three or four different SaaS subscriptions. Cancellation is one click and never reaches into your data. Uninstalling an app removes the feature from the UI but preserves the underlying customer, invoice, and booking records, so reinstalling later picks up exactly where you left off.
Every app in the marketplace is built specifically for the Australian small and medium business context: GST and ABN handling are first-class concerns, dates render as DD/MM/YYYY, currency defaults to AUD, and the underlying compliance plumbing (BAS summaries, ATO-friendly records, AHPRA / NDIS / Fair Work checkpoints where relevant) is shared across modules.
For a side-by-side of which features ship as core modules versus which require an installed app, see the features page. For pricing across plans and which apps are bundled at each tier, see the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Client Matching and the OneBookPlus app marketplace.
Does it match on language or cultural background?
No. There is no language field and no cultural-background field on a carer record, so neither is part of the score. If that matters for a client, note it on the client and choose the carer yourself.
Does it work out travel time between clients?
No. Proximity is the numeric difference between two postcodes: same postcode scores highest, 200 apart scores nothing. It is a rough proxy, and it is a poor one in rural areas. Check the run yourself.
Does it learn from feedback?
No. Nothing ingests client or family ratings, and the ranking does not change based on how a past visit went.
Will it warn me about an expiring certification?
No. It checks that a licence is recorded and active, not when it expires. Keep watching expiry dates yourself.
