About this app
Keep a list of your courtesy cars with the rego, make, model, insurance policy, kilometres, fuel level and status: available, out, maintenance or retired. Each car can carry a day rate, the kilometres included per day and an excess kilometre rate. Hand a car out to a customer with the kilometres, the fuel, the expected return time and notes, and if the loan is for a job, paste in that job's ID. Take it back with the kilometres and fuel again, and any excess kilometres and late days are worked out at the car's rates. Check or waive each charge, then put it on the job's parts list to bill with the job, or raise a draft invoice when the loan has no job. A car past its return time shows as late on the list, and the customer gets a text once a day until it is back, if they have an Australian mobile. Each car keeps a history of who had it, the kilometres driven and the fuel difference, and a utilisation page shows times out, days out and late returns over 30, 90 or 365 days. Not included: damage photos, a customer signature, or choosing the job from a list.
