About this app
This is not built yet. There is no Xero connection in OneBookPlus today, nothing flows in either direction, and your accountant still exports and imports as they do now. When it ships it will sync invoices, expenses and contacts both ways, with your chart of accounts and tax rates mapped once, so your accountant keeps Xero and you keep OneBookPlus without double entry. It will not bring bank transactions across. Bank feeds are withdrawn across OneBookPlus while we replace the data provider, and a Xero connection does not change that.

How Xero Sync fits into the rest of OneBookPlus
Xero Sync is a connector, and it has not shipped yet. When it does, it will link OneBookPlus to Xero. Your records stay in OneBookPlus, and the connector pushes events out to those tools and pulls their results back, so there is one place the customer, invoice and booking data actually lives.
Because the marketplace runs inside OneBookPlus, billing is consolidated. Xero Sync appears as a single line on the same OneBookPlus invoice as your plan, so you don't end up reconciling separate vendor charges across three or four different SaaS subscriptions. Cancellation is one click and never reaches into your data. Uninstalling an app removes the feature from the UI but preserves the underlying customer, invoice, and booking records, so reinstalling later picks up exactly where you left off.
Every app in the marketplace is built specifically for the Australian small and medium business context: GST and ABN handling are first-class concerns, dates render as DD/MM/YYYY, currency defaults to AUD, and the underlying compliance plumbing (BAS summaries, ATO-friendly records, AHPRA / NDIS / Fair Work checkpoints where relevant) is shared across modules.

- Yes. There are no lock-in contracts on any OneBookPlus app. Uninstall from your dashboard at any time and billing stops at the end of the current period.

- Yes. Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), with each business's data isolated at the database layer, hosted in Australia in line with the Privacy Act 1988.
