Stripe payments on invoices
OneBookPlus uses Stripe to take payment on invoices: card and BECS direct debit through Stripe-hosted checkout, card-on-file for repeat billing, and payouts straight to a Stripe account you own.
What the integration does today
Pay Now on every invoice
Invoices you send include a Pay Now button that opens a Stripe-hosted checkout. When the customer pays, the invoice is marked paid automatically, no manual reconciliation for online card payments.
Card and BECS direct debit
Customers can pay by card or by BECS direct debit from an Australian bank account, both through Stripe-hosted checkout pages.
Your own Stripe account
Payments settle to a Stripe account you connect from the dashboard (Stripe Connect). OneBookPlus is not in the money flow to your bank, Stripe pays you out directly.
Card details never touch OneBookPlus
Card entry happens on Stripe's own pages, so card numbers are handled by Stripe end to end and never pass through or get stored by OneBookPlus.
Card on file for repeat billing
Send a customer a Stripe-hosted setup link to save a card securely. The saved payment method can then be charged for later invoices without the customer re-entering details.
Tap to Pay on iPhone, when it ships
In-person contactless payments will run on Stripe Terminal when they ship. Tap to Pay is switched off in the public iOS app until Apple grants the distribution entitlement, so nobody can use it yet.
Fees, plainly
- Online card payments: a platform fee of up to 2.5% applies, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. An active paid subscription includes the payment rail and pays no platform fee.

Stripe integration FAQ
What does Stripe cost through OneBookPlus?
A platform fee of up to 2.5% applies to online card payments processed through OneBookPlus, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. An active paid subscription includes the payment rail and pays no platform fee at all. That is the only OneBookPlus fee there is today. The fee terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes. You connect a Stripe account from the OneBookPlus dashboard, and payments settle to it directly. If you don't have one, the connection flow walks you through creating one.
Does OneBookPlus store card numbers?
No. Card entry happens on Stripe-hosted pages, and saved cards live in Stripe's vault against your connected account. OneBookPlus stores only a reference to the payment method, never the card number.
Are invoices reconciled automatically when a customer pays?
Online payments made through the invoice's Pay Now button mark the invoice paid automatically. A bank transfer made outside Stripe is recorded against the invoice by hand, which clears it from your outstanding balance in the same way.
