Automating Google Review Requests

Use AI-powered timing to request Google reviews from your happiest clients.

Google reviews are critical for local businesses. The AI review harvester helps you request reviews from the right clients at the right time.

How It Works

The AI identifies the best moments to ask for a review based on:

  • Invoice payment: a client who just paid promptly is likely satisfied
  • Repeat bookings: clients who rebook are happy customers
  • Positive interactions: recent activity suggesting a good experience

When the AI detects a good moment, it sends a polite review request email with a direct link to your Google Business Profile.

Setting Up Review Harvesting

  1. Go to AI Companion in the sidebar, then Settings
  2. Toggle Google Review Harvester to on
  3. Under Cooldowns & Thresholds, set the review request cooldown: the number of days to wait before asking the same client again
  4. Put your Google review link on the review settings screen at /dashboard/reviews/settings, so the request has somewhere to send people

Finding Your Google Review Link

To get your direct review link:

  1. Search for your business on Google
  2. Click your Google Business Profile
  3. Find the "Write a review" button and copy the URL
  4. Paste it into the Review Harvester settings

Alternatively, search "Google Place ID Finder" to generate a direct review URL.

Review Request Email

The email sent to your client includes:

  • A personalised greeting using their first name
  • A thank you for their recent purchase or booking
  • A direct link to leave a Google review
  • Your business name and logo

Managing Requests

From AI Companion in the sidebar, then Logs & Activity, filter the type to Review Request to see:

  • Which client each request went to
  • Whether it went by email or by text
  • The message that was sent, and whether it sent
Tip: The businesses that collect reviews are the ones that ask every single time. Automating the request after a job is marked complete is the difference between asking when you remember and asking always. We do not publish a multiplier for this, because any number we could quote would come from too few businesses to mean anything.
