Every paid app in the marketplace starts on a free trial, and that trial runs on its own clock. It is not your plan trial, and the two dates usually differ.
Where to see the dates
Settings, then Billing & Plan. The monthly breakdown lists your plan and every installed app as its own line. During a trial each line shows Free during trial and what it will cost once the trial ends, so the first charge is never a surprise.
The trial only ever runs once
Removing an app and adding it back does not restart the trial. The original end date is kept and reused.
We say this plainly because the alternative is a business that thinks it has another fortnight and gets billed the same week. If you have already trialled an app, reinstalling puts you straight onto the paid subscription.
If you decide against it
Remove the app before the trial ends and the subscription is cancelled outright, so it can never convert. See removing an app.
If you leave it running
At the end of the trial the app subscription starts charging on its own cycle, billed by Stripe like your plan.
Add-on apps survive a plan change
Cancelling or downgrading your OneBookPlus plan does not cancel your app subscriptions. They are separate lines with separate subscriptions, and each one has to be dealt with on its own.
