OneBookPlus supports several people in one business, and the role decides what each of them can reach. This is the reference. To send the invite itself, see inviting someone to your account.
The five roles
| Role | Access level |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and team management. One owner per business |
| Admin | All business data and team management. Cannot change billing |
| Accountant | Accounting, invoices, expenses and reports only |
| Member | Can create and edit invoices, contacts, bookings and expenses |
| Viewer | Read-only access to business data |
Why billing sits with the owner alone
A subscription is a commitment the business is making. An admin can run the business day to day and still not be able to change what it is paying for, or add a paid app. That line is deliberate.
Use the accountant role for your bookkeeper
It gives them the financial data they need without opening up client messages and bookings. Connecting an external accountant this way also does not consume one of your customer seats.
Changing somebody's role
- Go to Settings, then Team
- Find them in the list
- Click the role dropdown beside their name
- Choose the new role
It takes effect immediately. They do not have to sign out and back in.
Removing somebody
- Go to Settings, then Team
- Click Remove beside them
- Confirm
Access is revoked straight away and the seat is freed. Everything they did stays on the record: invoices they raised, bookings they took, expenses they entered. Removing a person never removes their work, because those are your business records, not theirs.
How many people you can have
That depends on your plan, and you can buy extra seats on a paid plan. See adding seats for your team.
