Understanding the Dashboard

Learn what each section of your dashboard shows and how to use quick actions.

Your dashboard is the home screen of OneBookPlus. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your business.

Standard Business Dashboard

If you run a trades, professional services, retail, or health business, you'll see:

  • Revenue Today: total from paid invoices today
  • Revenue This Month: month-to-date income
  • Outstanding Invoices: total amount and count of unpaid invoices
  • Overdue: invoices past their due date (highlighted in red)
  • Contacts: total number of clients in your CRM
  • Recent Invoices: your latest invoices with status badges
  • Upcoming Bookings: next scheduled appointments
  • Activity Feed: recent actions across your account

Restaurant Dashboard

If your business type is restaurant, cafe, or hospitality, you get a specialised view:

  • Today's Revenue: cash + card breakdown
  • Open Orders: currently active orders
  • 7-Day Average: daily average sales over the past week
  • Recent Orders: latest orders with table and status
  • Quick Actions: New Order, Daily Sales, Add Expense, Menu Management

Quick Actions

Use the quick action buttons at the top of your dashboard to:

  • Create a new invoice
  • Add a new contact
  • Create a new booking
  • Record an expense
