Reporting the pay run to the ATO

OneBookPlus does not lodge Single Touch Payroll pay events to the ATO. Completing a pay run here works out the gross, the PAYG withheld and the super, and produces the pay slips, but nothing is sent to the ATO.

You still report each pay run through STP-enabled software on or before payday. Export the completed pay run and lodge it there. The year-to-date payroll summary in OneBookPlus (gross wages, PAYG withheld, employer super) gives you the figures that feed that lodgement.

Note: Always review PAYG and super calculations. OneBookPlus provides estimates, consult your accountant for complex scenarios.

Checking a pay run by hand

To check one employee before you post the run, use the superannuation calculator for the super line and the payroll tax calculator if your wages bill is near your state threshold. The rate behind the super line is the ATO super guarantee percentage, published on the ATO page on how much super to pay, and it is the figure to check each 1 July.
