Frequently asked questions
Overtime is calculated when an employee's actual hours (from timesheets) exceed their ordinary hours per week. The overtime hours appear on the timesheet and factor into payroll calculations.
Yes. When you run payroll, OneBookPlus calculates employer superannuation contributions at the super guarantee rate for 2026-27, 12% (ATO, super guarantee percentage, as at 1 July 2026). The super amount is shown on each employee's pay run entry. Always verify rates with the ATO as they may change annually.
PAYG (Pay As You Go) is the tax your business withholds from employee wages on behalf of the ATO. OneBookPlus estimates PAYG tax based on the employee's gross pay and pay cycle. These amounts appear in each pay run for review before finalising.
