No. The OneBookPlus POS runs in your web browser, so it works on any tablet, laptop or desktop. For the best experience we recommend an iPad or Android tablet. One thing to plan for: OneBookPlus does not take the card payment itself yet, so you still need your existing EFTPOS terminal at the counter. The tap happens on that machine and you record the card sale in the POS so the sale and the GST are right.
Yes. When creating a new order in the POS, choose the order type: Dine-in (select a table), Takeaway, Delivery, or Pickup. All order types work the same way, add items, process payment, and close.
When adding menu items, you can tag them as V (Vegetarian), VG (Vegan), GF (Gluten-Free), or DF (Dairy-Free). These tags display next to the item name in the POS so staff can quickly identify dietary options for customers.
